Every ending is the quiet, sacred boundary line that makes space for a brand-new, hopeful chapter to begin.
Moses had led Israel for forty years. He had stood before Pharaoh, crossed the Red Sea, received God’s law, endured the wilderness, and known the LORD “face to face.” But Moses died there. His part in the journey came to an end before Israel entered the Promised Land.
And yet God’s story didn’t end with Moses. Joshua would lead. Israel would cross the Jordan. A new chapter was already waiting beyond that sacred boundary line. Every ending leaves something behind—but it can also make space for something new to begin. Sometimes faith means gratefully releasing the chapter that has closed and trusting God with the hopeful pages still unwritten.
