Does use of the word but in disagreements make things worse? Over at Lifehacker they linked up an article that postulates such nonsense. Leave but out? Egads!
We all know that everything communicates better with an ample supply of but! But (see what I mean?), there is an interesting suggestion in the article, that thoughtfully structuring what comes before and after the but can have a very positive impact. Methinks this is important to consider. So check it out. And use the conjunction but to its fullest potential in your next disagreement!
